U.S. Soccer, MLS and NASL Head to Long-Awaited Antitrust Trial

It’s been eight years since the North American Soccer League—which operated between 2011 and 2017—sued the U.S. Soccer Federation, accusing it of violating antitrust law and demanding an injunction that would have forced U.S. Soccer to recognize NASL as a Division II league.
